Outdoor Comfort

Our technicians can help you choose what will work best for your space between the following traditional patio heating options:

• The most popular is the propane patio heater. Propane patio heaters are powered by traditional propane tanks that are easily refilled and replaced. The rest of the heater is constructed to be topped with a dome shape that disperses the heat downward to the surrounding area. Propane patio heaters are flexible and easily moved, though they can be less effective than their permanent install counter options.

• Natural gas patio heaters provide the ease of consistent heat throughout your patio or outdoor area. By connecting to a gas line, you are able to provide constant heat to the area for extended periods of time and eliminate the need to refill and change tanks.

• Electric patio heaters are a mid-level option as far as permanence, These patio heaters run off electricity and are either an easily moveable freestanding design or a simple wall-mounted design. Using infrared heating elements to radiate heat to warm up the outdoor area, you do not need to have a gas line connection or use any type of fuel tank; however, access to an electrical connection is mandatory.

HVAC patio heaters come in a variety of sizes and designs, each with its own pros and cons. Tabletop heaters, freestanding, wall mounted, and overhead-mounted are all options. Trust our experts to help you choose the right design for your space and the functionality of the space you wish to achieve.

Additionally, following the manufacturer’s instructions and also the advice of a certified technician will greatly reduce the risk of malfunction or hazard. Proper ventilation and the proper size for the area will prevent the build-up of harmful carbon monoxide and will also avoid potential fire hazards endangering you and your property.

The Texas Panhandle can be absolutely sweltering. We might not have to fight humidity like other areas, but our dry heat can significantly limit the outdoor patio season. At Verity Mechanical, we have solutions for making your outdoor space as comfortable as possible on those warm evenings. Ask our experts about the following:

• Portable Air Conditioning Units: Most effective in enclosed or semi-enclosed spaces to allow for venting and also keep the cooled air in an isolated area. Portable air conditioning units are easily moveable from one location to another and assist in blowing hot air away from your contained patio area.

• Outdoor Cooling System: A specialized system designed specifically for your individual outdoor space designed using parts that are made to withstand the outdoor elements while delivering cool air to your open area. These systems are generally a combination of misters, evaporative coolers, and high-pressure fans that work together to lower the outdoor temperature.
